इस भाग-दौड़ भरी जिंदगी में जब भी हम अकेले बैठते हैं, तब एक खामोशी हमें घेर लेती है, जिसमें आवाज नहीं होती लेकिन शोर बहुत होता है। यह शोर हमारे भीतर छिपे उन सवालों का होता है, जो पूछते हैं, " हमने क्या खोया ? हमने क्या पाया ? हम कहाँ पहुँचे ? कहाँ पहुँचना चाहते है ? हमने क्या किया है ? हम क्या करना चाहते हैं ? इससे भी महत्वपूर्ण बात यह, कि हमने जो कुछ भी किया है किया है, क्या हम उससे खुश हैं ? कभी-कभी वो शोर हमें झकझोर देता है। प्रस्तुत पुस्तक उसी खामोशीयों को कविताओं में बाँध कर पाठकों के दिलों तक पहुँचाने का प्रयास कर रही है।

In this fast-paced life, whenever we sit alone, a silence surrounds us, in which there is no sound but there is a lot of noise in it. This noise is of those hidden questions within us, which ask, "What we lost? What we found? Where we reached? Where we want to go? What we have done? What we want to do? More significantly, are we happy with whatever we have done ? Sometimes, that noise stir us. The present book is endeavouring to tying the same silence in poems to reach to hearts of readers.
