The sad thing about life is that many, if not all have problems that we don't really know the cause. When a problem arises in our lives, we are very quick to assume that this and that and other caused it.

So what is our response? We begin to pray concerning what we assumed might have caused our problems. But the sad reality is that what we are praying about, 90% of the time is not the cause of the problem. So when we don't see results we end up saying "God did not answer me!"

Right now, you are battling with some serious issues; could be with your finances, health, marriage, child birth, etc. This problem has lingered for long and it is a source of concern and tension in your life. There is really nothing you have not done, but nothing has worked. BUT THERE IS A SOLUTION!

The BIBLE says:

"FOR WHAT MAN KNOWETH THE THINGS OF A MAN, SAVE THE SPIRIT OF MAN WHICH IS IN HIM? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God." - 1 Cor. 2:11

The scripture above reveals to us that the only person who knows everything about a man, is the spirit of that man that dwells in him. It didn't say "soul", "mind", "heart" or "body", BUT THE SPIRIT OF MAN.

Think about it for a minute: your spirit that is housed in your body knows everything about you to the last detail. Your spirit knows your needs, your pains, your deepest desires, your weaknesses, your destiny and how you are to fulfill your destiny. Your spirit knows the people you must meet to be favoured; he knows the obstacles you might face on your way to fulfilling your destiny, even though your mind is clueless with regards to this.

What this also means is that there are some things my spirit knows about me that my mind or intellect is not aware of; there are some future challenges and glories that will come my way that my spirit knows about but my mind is not aware of. Why? Because, your regenerated spirit is in sync with God – that is where the Holy Spirit dwells. Also your spirit operates and functions in the spirit realm

Now here comes a mind blowing revelation given to us by Apostle Paul. He said:

"For if I pray in an unknown tongue, MY SPIRIT PRAYETH, but my understanding is unfruitful." - 1 Cor. 14:14

Wow! So when I pray in tongues, my spirit is doing the praying. Not the Holy Spirit. Some folks think it is the Holy Spirit speaking through them, but the scriptures here says it is your spirit - the real you - the regenerated spirit that is praying. The Holy Spirit only gives him utterance - a means to properly articulate and express himself before God!

Now the catch is this: if my spirit knows everything about me, when I pray in other tongues, you can be sure he will address them before God in prayer. WOW! What an ability we have in Christ Jesus!

Your spirit knows you have bills to pay next month; he knows your company will sack some workers, he knows your child would need healing in the next three months, he knows what the enemy is planning against you next, he knows you need to be favored by so and so to get to your next level, so when you pray in other tongues, your spirit prays presenting those things to God. Unknown to us, this is what our spirit is doing when we pray in other tongues. Wow!
