Bridget Williams is a editor who has been forced to give up everything due to her medical illness and pregnancy. Trying to accept her fate, Bridget attempt to make her home in quiet suburb of New South Wales. Things change when she bumps into Lorena Smith who tells her that she saw a murder. Bridget doesn't believe Lorena, but when she disappears and so does her baby Stella, Bridget begins to ask questions.
