Mankind has established contact, and the new species in the galaxy has one request.

Earth's embassy launches to the outer reaches of our system, meeting the new species in neutral space. Earth has carefully picked its delegation—all women whose intelligence is matched by their beauty. But their anxiety grows as they meet the fierce warriors of the Menin, who have crossed the galaxy to meet them, for it appears the dominant males are far more consumed with the pleasures of the female body than they are in brokering any other inter-species relations.

Tina, feeling the most out of place in this team of Earth's elite, is claimed by the large and fierce warrior Slych. She is kept apart from the others, alone in Slych's quarters, where she must learn to communicate with the impressive male who has captured her.

Their words are few as they begin to understand one another, but there is one universal language their species have in common.
