Nicolas woke to the sound of hunters calling out to one another in the darkness. He knew the time had come. He went out to the woods and found the two wolf pups. The smaller one looked up at him as if he had known Nicolas for ages. The iridescent indigo eyes stared up at him and he nearly jumped into the old man's arms.
The prophecy had begun. And Nicolas had to protect the indigo-eyed pup at all costs. Even if it cost him his life.
