Finding Brad Harper, a missing husband, who has left his wife and kids without a cent, is PI Matt Malone's top priority. That is until his neighbor Margaret Grimshaw asks him to take on a new case. This one involves skeletal remains discovered on property intended for a new middle school which has recently been donated to Anoka-Hennepin School District. Malone makes a snap decision. Set the stalled Harper case aside temporarily and find evidence that proves whether the remains are part of a Native American burial site. Unfortunately, as hard as Malone tries to ignore the Harper case, the PI discovers it's impossible to do so.
