Welcome back to the Investing for Interest series. Today we will discuss Bond funds.
Bond funds come in all shapes and sizes, and you need to know what you are buying.
You can use many bond funds as a hedge when stocks plummet. But some closed-end fund bond funds use leverage, and they will plummet along with stocks.
You need to understand the difference between Treasuries, Corporate, High Yield, and Closed-End bond funds, which allows you to make choices to hedge your portfolio.
