Elizabeth's poetry spans a decade of her life during which she was considered to be "mentally unstable". During this period, Elizabeth found her only escape to be through describing her intense thoughts in the form of poetry and prose.

Michelle's art is a combination of previous creations as well as those derived from Elizabeth's poetry. Michelle's work is intended to enhance the experience of the poetry, creating appreciation for fine art and providing thoughtful breaks between the author's continued struggle.
