Each morning, parents gaze into the eyes of their kids, wondering how they will talk to them about climate change. We fret and reflect. We want to discuss climate change in a way that is productive and enriching so that our kids can help us cope with this thread to our life and well-being. I will explain how to do this in the e-book.
The first thing we should do is to acknowledge what is truly happening in our world so that we can take concrete steps to do something about it. It's not enough to think that the problem is too big and there is nothing we can do about it. That is a false claim and it's irresponsible to think this way! If we each did even a few things reduction every day, we could start seeing a big difference in our overall pollution in time. But we have to actually start doing something. Then we can make this world a better place for our kids.
But how can we do this? This isn't exactly a topic that can be discussed without a bit of forethought and knowledge. In other words, we have to learn about climate change ourselves before we can relay this information to our kids in a way that they can understand. We don't necessarily want to scare them. But we can't sugar-coat the issues either.
This e-book is not for the faint-hearted. I will encourage you to take climate change seriously. I will encourage you to stop the denial and false information you tell yourself. And I will ask you to act now. I will encourage you to see the urgency of climate change and urge you to inspire others, through your actions, to take climate change seriously.
