This is a story about love and responsibility. The love of a little boy and a little girl for their dog; the dog's love for the children; the parent's love for their children and the dog and about the difficult decisions a parent must make when their children's safety is of concern. The story is also about life as it was during the early part of the last century, when bathrooms were just coming indoors and radio was a major source of entertainment.
