Book Two starts several months after Zerpa with Doctor Anna Jaspers travelling into a medieval imaginscape for a well-earned and solitary vacation. Instead she finds herself dragged into a life-and-death battle with a dragon and a romance with a dashing knight.

When she gets back to her psychiatrist practice, Jaspers is thrown into a maelstrom of patients dying from a new and oddly-behaving illness.

In the future, travelers don't hop on a plane, they hop into someone else's imagination. The most popular imaginers are booked far into the future. Intense competition leads to jealousy, betrayal, and revenge.

Jaspers tries every possible therapy and even invents a new one. But ultimately she, and her dashing knight, must return to the imaginscape to vanquish the deadly illness.
