Ein Landarzt (A Country Doctor) is a narrative of Kafka's, which revolves around the life and work of a country doctor. The story is set in the countryside and tells about the day to day tasks of a country doctor. He has to deal with warts and tonsillitis and other minor illnesses. His patients often come from great distances outside of town to see him, as he is known for his ability to cure these ailments.
