Reveling in metaphor, with two books in one, this flippable book encourages a magical leap of imagination and asks the reader to look at everyday objects from a different perspective.

A young child skates, bakes and milks the cow while the moon wondrously transforms above. That moon is a silver pond when seen through the trees, and when they tend the cow, the moon is the milk at the bottom of the pail. Flip the book and join a young child walking along a country road into town to watch a parade. The sun takes the form of the yolk of an egg, a spool of thread, the eye of a bird, an ice-cream cone and a dandelion. Each round, a yellow item on the page hints at the big golden ball in the sky. With stunning illustrations by Josée Bisaillon, this picture book shows children that the way they see the world—by heart, mind and imagination—is just right.
