In the hood love and loyalty were actions not just words. they held heavy and I stood my pretty ten toes down by all means even if it meant to sacrifice my freedom just to keep my pup alive. He was my lover, my friend, my drug and now he is my enemy little does he know.
Hatred was brewing in my big heart for him slowly. Richardo "Rico" Black locked my heart down at sixteen and let the judge throw the key away at twenty-three years old just to do a ten flat-ten damn years from a jam he got caught slipping. Being loyal, young and in love I took the rap for a man I thought loved me as much as I did him. Wrong. Love didn't mean anything to him as long as he could get something out of a deal, jam or finesse a body; he was good, damn good.
