Anne's life during the Nazi war was beyond comprehension, her father was a businessman who was willing to do all it took for his family to survive. Two years in hiding was no easy feat Anne loved writing as this would always make her relax. Her dairy became a resounding success years after her rather painful death. The Frank family suffered greatly when (according to recent findings) their hiding spot was disclosed to the Nazis and they stormed the annex separating the children from their parents.

The Diary, which has been converted into more than 65 dialects, is the most generally perused journal of the Holocaust, and Anne is likely the most popular of Holocaust victims.
