A freak of nature unearths a unique inordinately large diamond in a gold mining camp in Chile. The camp is guarded by mercenaries led by Thomas Duggan who has other ideas of how the diamond and his future are entwined. Since he cannot overcome the electronic traps guarding the diamond he requests his mafia friend to help. The Mafiaso is willing to orchestrate the snatch if Thomas will in return snatch the mafia capo held in a high security prison in Paris where previous attempts for a snatch had failed. Fear is the key to the ensuing action.
