Although I am a dividend investor, I love using index funds to juice my returns. Index funds are passive, inexpensive, and simple to understand.
Here, I lay out the index funds I use across my five brokerage accounts. It feels good to see them growing along with the market.
Pairing these funds with dividend growth and income portfolios lets them serve as the growth element.
Also, adding these funds to your Roth IRA can give you a massive stockpile of cash that you can convert to tax-free dividend-paying stock during retirement. Whatever the scenario, index funds are a welcome addition to any strategy.
