The Argentinian Virgin is a sensuous novel of jealousy and betrayal set in the Riviera summer 1941. Four glamorous young Americans find themselves whiling away the days in the boredom of a small Riviera town, while in a half-abandoned mansion nearby a daughter and her mother waits for the man of the house to return from business in the Reich and the them back to Argentina.
