Why the choice of this theme?
There is already a lot of literature on hydrotherapy, the external use of water. I'm practicing different applications from which I benefit greatly. In this research, on the other hand, I wanted to investigate the curative effect of water for internal use.
For some years, I have been experiencing the positive impact of Ayurvedic water (water boiled for 15-20 minutes, which is drunk hot in small sips during the day). I checked it out on myself and several other people, which interested me in deepening this issue.
The studies of Dr. F. Batmanghelidj on the need for sufficient hydration of the organism and the spectacular healings have fascinated me for years. I have grasped the opportunity to deepen its new paradigm on water check with my clients if it works.
Studying the research and especially the applications in the "system of healing natural "of the Russian physician and scientist Dr. Galina Schatalova, is was intrigued by the word "structured water." In several experiments, she has proved that little structured water is enough to survive even in extreme conditions (marches in several Mid-Asian deserts). I want to translate some phrases from his first book translated into German, "Wir fressen uns zu Tode."
(from the original title "Vybor Puti," which can be translated into Italian "Ci abbuffiamo a death"):
"At the request of the Russian geographic company, I checked whether it is possible to reduce the usual quantities of water consumption during summer crossings in the deserts".
Until that moment, the opinion reigned that, in the summer months during an expedition on foot in the burning deserts of sand, the man had to consume at least ten liters of water to ensure sufficient regulation of the own thermal economy.
It was believed that sweat moistens the skin and cools it by evaporating. But I know that the water we drink is not "immediately" expelled through the pores but goes through several transformations that require a lot of energy from the body. Therefore excessive use of liquids weakens and heats too much the body ...
As the experiment proceeded, I decreased water consumption in extreme conditions (deserts) from ten to one liter of water.
First, it played an essential role in eating food low in calories and protein and without animal proteins. Animal products require 42 g of water for every g of digested protein.
Second, we drank structured water enriched with herbs, which helped lower body temperature.
The specific reactivity of the mucous membranes in the desert was also considered.
By consuming ordinary cold water, the mucous membranes of the mouth react immediately with an intense thirst. It turned out that it was enough to put a simple pebble or a grain of raisins in the mouth to increase saliva secretion, a structured liquid, and thirst decreased. The same effect is obtained with a hot herbal tea.
All this allowed me to reduce water consumption to one liter per day without damaging health. "
This led me to investigate different methods for restructuring water, and I have found that this issue has been a worldwide research topic for a long time. Many companies, meanwhile, offer appliances with water ionized - structured water - alkalized water. I would say the Japanese are at the forefront in this field, not only in research but also in practical application at the national level.
