What you got to lose?
How about everything.
Stepping out of the McCarran terminal, the heavy desert heat welcomed us to the paradisiacal city of sin, we were so excited about making most of the time away from the kids. This trip was going to be the second honeymoon we always talked about.
The sweat built up on my brow and under my shirt that I had to undo another button of my silk shirt, just in a vain attempt to cool myself further. My wife, Malaisia, ever the forward thinking woman, was dressed appropriately for this arid weather, and looked remarkably stunning too; it's always been a pleasure of mine throughout the years to watch as she never fails to excite with her tall statuesque figure.
Hopping into the back of the limo, it was ever so relieving to find the AC already blasting out an icy breeze. Moving from the contemptuous heat into the igloo-like back seat was simply divine. I even made comment to the driver about it.
"If I may be excused, can I ask if this is your first time in town? Sir."
"Yes, it is... but is it always this much of a scorcher?"
"Well sir, if you're asking me that, you must have missed the sand dunes out the plane window"
"haha... I guess I must have"
Malaisia scooched over and rested her hand and head on my shoulder while she looked out the window.
"Honey, I'm so thrilled that we finally are doing this"
"I feel the same way dear" placing my hand on her tender cheek "We should have done it years ago".
