Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its intention is to trade styles of thinking or conduct that are at the back of people's difficulties, and so change the way they feel. It is used to help treat a wide range of problems in someone's life, from snoozing difficulties or dating problems, to drug and alcohol abuse or tension and depression. CBT works with the aid of converting people's attitudes and their behavior via focusing at the thoughts, images, ideals and attitudes which might be held (a person's cognitive processes) and how these tactics relate to the manner a person behaves, as a manner of coping with emotional problems
