The Goodman Theatre, Chicago, has a long history of showcasing new playwrights, and for developing programs that welcome the artistry of youth. These works spring from the Generation endeavor, created by Walter Director of Engagement, Willa Taylor, for people of a certain age.

The works included have been performed for Chicago House, This Much is True storytellers, and for Chicago's longest running festival Fillet of Solo, on the Lifeline theatre stage, as well as within the Goodman stage.

The themes vary from feeling different than what others would expect, and the confidence of that...to my greatest victories, whether standing up for justice, or moving through a situation that is new. Each story offers an intimate tidbit of my life.
