Maxine Callaway's high school is hosting a talent show and many students are going to participate. Maxine decides to join the talent show to perform his magic tricks but feeling unconfident during his rehearsals for the talent show, Maxine is oddly introduced to the ringleader of a new circus, called The Greatest Escape and he appears out of nowhere on school grounds, gathering more children to go to the circus. He offers Maxine to be the youngest magician working for his circus and to sell his shows. After getting invited to see a show, Maxine and his friends go after school to the circus and Maxine is volunteered as his guest for a magic trick performance. Maxine's friends save him from a triumph of trouble.
