Never Saw You Coming is KLS Fuerte's first novel, a romantic thriller set in London,
Paris, and Martinique, in the French Caribbean. It is a fictional novel, beautifully written
like a very intimate journal, with days, dates, emails, letters, and upheavals, which dives into
the lives of charming Beatrice and charismatic Edward. Fuerte writes fiction that feels
like reality to engulf the readers into the characters' lives. Beatrice is a beautiful French
Afro-Caribbean woman from Martinique, and Edward is this bright and handsome
British Caucasian man from England. They fall in love but their fairy-tale marriage
turns out to be very different from what they expected. Beatrice and Edward start as a
role-model mixed couple whose picture-perfect life, unfolds and takes some surprising
twists and turns where love, romance, truth, lies, death and illusions boil at a hot
temperature. Their tempestuous relationship will truly be tested for better and for worse
with love, hatred, passions and betrayals infiltrating their lives from every angle.
