We are all familiar to some extent with the fall of our nature, as it is depicted in Genesis through the deeply existential symbolic representation of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. Symbols are needed to express the deep bond between the unit (man) and infinite (GOD). Adam's deepest and most essential purpose is to achieve a truly perfect and complete union with the dual nature of Christ representing the perfect expression of both divinity and humanity in harmonious co-existence.
