Mila wakes in the middle of the night . . . again. No matter how many times she tries to track the name she whispers when she wakes, she can't. Somehow that one name whispered after a nightmare she can barely remember, remains elusive.

Mila heads to the window in her bedroom to find the moon saying goodbye. A movement in the corner of her backyard draws her attention. No wild animals dare get close to her house, which is suspicious. When morning arrives, it's still there . . . watching.

The next day a male Lycaen shows up on her doorstep. A very powerful male at that. If he was the one creeping around her yard she sure as hell won't give the likes of him a reading. When he swears it wasn't, she knows she's in trouble.
