The reasons for a person choosing to live in a country other than where were born are numerous.
Thankfully, for most "Ex-Pats", the decision to up sticks and move to Spain was voluntary.
From a personal point of view, when we told people we were moving to live permanently in Spain, a look of horror quickly turned to an embarrassed recovery as they spluttered, "Why?"
"Oh!" We replied, "You mean, apart from, the weather, the food, the vino, the people, the cost of living etc?"
I hope you enjoy reading these varied reasons for moving to Spain.
