Do not let the book title or the cover deceive you. It's not so much a story about Bob Dylan, but tells the tale of Joseph, a dull, selfish husband and father, who is frighteningly obsessed with the folk superstar. He falls back fifty years to 1966 where he joins his musical hero, on his controversial world tour.

It documents the odd relationship between Joseph and Dylan's official tour photographer, Barry Feinstein. The story tells of Joseph's struggle to cope with the strange world he has found himself in. He yearns for his wife and son, who remain somewhere in 2016. His urge to return to his family, far outweigh the fact that he is in such proximity to Bob Dylan.
