This is a follow up to 'Describe My Dragon' This book encourages your child to improve their writing by using more adjectives to describe objects like dragons. It is very simple and mainly just provides opportunities for you to model how to use adjectives and expanded noun phrases. My son likes dragons so I used dragons in this book but you can use anything to encourage your child to describe what they can see. In some of the later images, there is a dragon doing and holding different objects to inspire your child to describe what they can see. This simple book is to motivate children and for them to see that all they have to do is say what colour, shape or shape they can see. My son is preparing for his SATs and this is just a simple aid to his revision. Hope you child to see that they can simply improve their writing by adding a describing word of what they are referring to.
