"The Gift of Tongues"
Liz Morgan has a gift of tongues, but it is not helping her to learn Spanish on her mission. Then a bird flies to her window, offering to exchange her ability to speak with animals for a gift of her choosing, including the ability to know Spanish. Sister Morgan doesn't want to lose her ability to speak to her dog at home, but there must be something she can request to take advantage of the situation.

After Liz comes home from her mission, she gets married, has children, and develops fibromyalgia. Now she has something she would be willing to trade her gift to speak with animals for. She just has to find that messenger bird again.
