Ry'lee goes to first grade is a book about an awesome little girl who finds out on her first day of school that she is a little different from the other kids. The entire school day Ry'lee tried to do things like the normal kids for example; sitting at her desk, playing on the monkey bars, and even sitting at the table to eat lunch. Ry'lee realized that she was unable to do things like her classmates, which made her sad. Her parents and teachers let her know that it was ok to be different and she was special just like all the other kids, and so special to her mom that she took her to get ice cream.
