Cockney comedian Micky Flanagan's debut radio show charts the ups and downs of his life, from Billingsgate fish porter to successful stand-up comic and from Sunblest to panini, tabloids to broadsheets and the street party to the dinner party. Each week's episode focuses on a different decade of Micky's life, and he regales us with autobiographical stories told through stand-up comedy. In this third episode, Micky tells us about his life in the 1990s, when he made up for his misspent youth by returning to education late in life, attending university and then becoming a teacher to a new generation of unruly pupils. He talks to millionaire plumber Charlie Mullins, who has a different take on the value of a university education, and entertains us with tales of his time as a teacher, when he became so despondent that he wouldn't even take his coat off in class. Written and performed by Micky Flanagan, and produced by Tilusha Ghelani.
