Most reputable places you might buy equipment and supplies from will provide a quote which is good for several weeks to a month. You might tell your directors that we requested a list of equipment and supplies which were used by the Project, so that if any employees transfer, they'll have familiar equipment available. I think they'll probably encourage you to make such a list with the idea that we're serious enough about acquiring the Project to want that sort of information.
