The life we had is gone.

I am not sick, even though it seems everyone else – my friends, the people on the streets, the rich and powerful and poor and lost alike – is dead or dying.

It seems impossible, but it's true: I am immune to the rapture virus, and civilization is crashing around me like a sandcastle in the surf.
