Siegmund, a married musician, falls in love with the much younger Helena. The two set of on a romantic holiday on the Isle of Wight. But the trip and their affair have profound consequences on their lives upon their return home. Siegmund is torn between his love for Helena and his obligations to his wife Beatrice and their children.
