I hope this poetry hits home with someone and inspires them. I love the late poet Maya Angelou. She was a phenomenal poet and I believe she was before her time. Still I Rise, Phenomenal Woman, and On The Pulse of The Morning are my favorite poems from her. She taught me it's okay to be yourself even if you have to stand alone because there's only one you.
