No one seemed to have noticed their sudden arrival. Everyone was busy, taking pictures or buying souvenirs. Most of them, however, just struggled to get a few seconds in front of the fountain. They wanted to get a closer look, take a few more pictures and throw their coin in, hoping that sometime in the future their road would lead them back to Rome. Their breaths were visible in the frozen air, yet they didn't seem to feel cold, hidden inside their thick coats, knit caps and woolen scarves.
