This book discusses adult vulnerability in a range of health social care and community contexts through a series of 'thematic' approaches. Acknowledging the overlap between different states of vulnerability, the book demonstrates how vulnerable states can follow on from each other in a sequential manner, for example the transition from insecure accommodation to substance abuse to imprisonment.
