Insomnia is the inability to fall or stay asleep for more than a few hours, causing both a lack of restorative or unrefreshing sleep. And unfortunately, it's such a widespread condition, one which takes an equally heavy toll on your mental energy, mood, and capability to function normally during the day. Insomnia can have different impacts on different people, but the results are always the same: it disrupts your ability to stay alert or work productively. It can cause difficulties with concentration and focus, as well as the inability to remember things. It also interferes with normal sleeping cycles and can cause irritability and anxiety on top of all of those negative symptoms.

The use of white noise has been shown to increase creativity and reduce fatigue. This is because when your brain receives different frequencies of sounds during different times of the day, it creates new brainwaves to take it's place.
