Coolidge was the 30th American president and made this fourth address in December 1926. In it, he talks about the right of people to earn a fair wage for their labour and to enjoy ample leisure time. He said that "The social well-being of our country requires our constant effort for the amelioration of race prejudice and the extension to all elements of equal opportunity and equal protection under the laws which are guaranteed by the Constitution." He was a passionate advocate of racial integration.
