Maybe Mom didn't really want me, and this was her way of getting rid of me. I became extremely unhappy, unfocused, and I had thoughts to do anything I needed to do to go home. I was desperate, so I came up with a plan to get myself out of there.

I was already the person I wanted to be. I liked myself. When change began to happen in my life, I wondered, why do I have to change? Our accomplishments and assets are important. Like our position in life, our prominent social status, they define us. Right now, you are probably thinking you don't want to change either. My concern is that I haven't hesitated too long to share my heart transformation with you because change is where we experienced our greatest rewards. We mothers naturally accept our own biological children with love. Learning unconditional love is when you mother others with the same tender care.
