It had been a good night when they finally reached the point of the river they would cross. There was a bridge made of light stones with large surfaces. The huge stones looked like black gems floating on the silver waters of the river. The landscape was beautiful, but the bridge was inaccessible. The stones were quite far apart and to cross the river one had to have balance. Crossing one side of the river to the other seemed scary.
