The narrative discusses the indirect path to resolving conflicts among factions within a free country. Since we're more affected by the attitudes of our neighbors than by rules handed down from authorities, the most significant changes come from the bottom-up. Setting a positive example achieves more than the success of a political movement that seeks a change to the rules. Any sort of oppression is the result of attitudes, and we change the attitudes of our neighbors by demonstrating the path to Christ. The welfare and salvation of our neighbors is more important than changing the way they treat us, but spreading the mindset of love will ultimately achieve both ends.
