Dani's 30th birthday feels only inches away, and she has yet to attain her goal of buying her first home, not to mention she has no special someone in her life. When a friend announces Dani will be receiving an incredibly romantic birthday surprise, Dani wishes she had more of a clue as to what it will be since "Just trust me," isn't all that informative. What she doesn't expect is to be kidnapped, especially by such a fine example of manhood.

Ryder knows it's a bad idea. A terrible idea, really. But the reward of being able to stay at his friend's cabin in the woods so he'll be able to finally start his novel is too strong a lure to get him to refuse to do the favor.
