This book is intended to be a part of a series of fictional works on social issues facing youth. This book focuses on foster care and identity and features a young foster child in America of African descent. It explores issues of undiscovered heritage as well as finding inner strength in difficulty. It is a fantasy book exploring popular issues related to being young in an aversive world and has hints of situational dramas repurposed from Black Lives Matters' concerns.
