Genesis is the first book of the Old Testament and the first of the five books of Moses. The Hebrew name for the book is bereshith which is translated, "In the beginning." Genesis begins with the story of Creation and Adam and includes some of the most famous Bible stories such as Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, The Testing of Abraham and Joseph sold into slavery.

Exodus is the second of the five books of Moses. It takes its name from the flight of the Israelites from their bondage in Egypt. It begins where Genesis leaves off, telling of the Israelites in bondage, their flight, and the Ten Commandments.
