A dream is a powerful thing, Rhona discovers, when her dreams set her on a mission to find a cure for the ailing Thane. She must travel to an ancient ruin to find the 'irises of purple hue.' Worse, she must bring the Thane's young daughter Alura, as the child is intricately tied in with the prophecy. In a land infested with evil spirits set to destroy them, Rhona will need every ounce of her skill as Lightseer to succeed.
The short fantasy story, "Purple Irises" was first published in Beyond Centauri Magazine in 2009.
