This book is a FREE offering by the author. Brian Westbrook authored this book as part of his therapy. It is suggested that it will help you with your therapy if you are undergoing cancer treatment.

Brian is a cancer survivor. You are holding in your hands a memoir. It takes place from May 2017 to the present. You Don't Have to Walk Alone: A head and neck cancer survivor is a running commentary. It deals with feelings and emotions with nothing medical on a journey through the diagnosis, operation, radiation therapy, and recovery. For the general reader, I hope that you find his reflections perceptive.

For readers going through cancer, the hope is that you find his words comforting and retain the thought that you are not alone. In fact, we can all identify with your feelings: Your family, friends, and your healthcare team. Most just don't express their feelings.

For all readers, Brian hopes that you will conclude that the book is informative. Each chapter is deliberately kept short. Research suggests that short chapters are the best way to convey ideas currently. This book has a storyline. It is best approached by reading each chapter, and preferably in the order that you find them.
