After solving my mother's murder, I decided to stay in Provence. The small town was growing on me, and I'd made friends I didn't want to lose.

But then I was suddenly taken in for questioning over the murder of a woman I didn't know and suddenly found myself wrapped up in another investigation. This time I had to contend with my newly found magical abilities becoming stronger, and the deeper I got involved, the more my life seemed to be spinning out of control.

With the help of a strange librarian and the smoldering Osiris, it was a race against the clock to find out who was behind this brutal act. I loved this town, but as the new comer in town, I had a strange feeling there was a target on my back too.
