This book deals with The Lord Jesus' last twenty-four hours before His death at the cross, during which time He was preparing the apostles for when He would return to His Father in Heaven, as when He would be sending The Holy Spirit to indwell them, so that they might carry on the work that He had been doing on earth! The book has application to believers today, who are now still carrying on the same work, and so can benefit from all God's Son said to the apostles in this book!
